Women's Stick and Skate Social 2025

Ladies, have you ever wanted to learn the basics of hockey but didn't have the opportunity to? Sign up for our second annual Women's Stick and Skate Social at Abbotsford Centre on Sunday, March 2nd from 2-5pm! Come learn the basics in a classroom and on-ice format in a completely safe, non-judgemental environment. Get ready for a fun day of skills, drills, and lots of girl power.

Who should sign up?

• Any woman who wants to learn the basics of hockey in a fun and non-judgmental environment in the home of a professional hockey team
• Hockey moms
• Females and female identifying persons over 19 (alcohol will be served after the skate) 

What do I need to participate?

• Full hockey gear is required to participate on ice. Borrow your partner's or kid's gear, there's no judgement here!

What is included in my registration fee?

You will receive:

• Hockey 101: Chalk-and-talk session to learn all about hockey fundamentals | 1 hour in the classroom

• On-ice action: All skating levels are welcome to pick up a stick, learn the basics, and have fun | 1 hour on the ice

• Bag some swag: All attendees will get an Abbotsford Canucks Swag Bag
